Main duties

  • Maintenance Technician – Machine Shop

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, saws, presses, and other machine-shop equipment.

    • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic control-system problems.

    • Diagnose equipment failures and make timely repairs to minimize production downtime.

    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records.

    • Replace bearings, belts, motors, pumps, sensors, switches, hoses, and other machine components.

    • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation.

    • Assist with machine installations, equipment moves, setup, and modifications.

    • Perform fabrication, machining, or other repair work as needed.

    • Maintain shop utilities and facility equipment, including compressors, HVAC systems, lighting, and other support systems.

    • Work closely with production personnel to identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements.

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

    • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.

    • Maintain an inventory of commonly used maintenance parts and supplies.

    • Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Undergraduate : Associate's, Bachelor's, or equivalent extensive experience
  • Professional experience required: 3 - 5 years
