Main missions

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Furnace Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Furnace Operator is responsible for safely operating industrial furnaces and related equipment, monitoring temperature and processing conditions, and ensuring materials are processed according to established specifications and quality standards.
 

Main duties

 

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor industrial furnaces and associated equipment.

  • Load and unload materials according to established procedures.

  • Set and maintain furnace temperatures, timers, and processing cycles.

  • Monitor furnace operation and make adjustments as needed.

  • Follow work instructions, production schedules, and process specifications.

  • Inspect materials before and after processing to ensure quality requirements are met.

  • Record production, temperature, and process information accurately.

  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.

  • Assist with material handling and other production activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or furnace operating experience preferred.

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn industrial equipment.

  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work safely around heat, machinery, and industrial equipment.

  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
