About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC machinery, interpreting engineering drawings, and producing precision-machined components to established specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or other CNC machinery.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&T.
  • Load tools, set offsets, and make machine adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Make basic program edits and offsets as required.
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.
  • Work effectively with programmers, engineers, supervisors, and other machinists to resolve production issues.

$22.00 - $34.00 per hour

Qualifications

Required:

  • CNC machining experience or relevant technical training.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of basic machining principles, cutting tools, feeds and speeds.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred:

  • Experience with CNC mills and/or CNC lathes.
  • Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming.
  • Experience with GD&T.
  • Experience machining aluminum, steel, stainless steel, or other production materials.
  • Vocational, technical, or machining certification.
