Role: TAC Impregnation Operator

Location: Eaglescliffe, Teesside

Salary: Competitive + benefits

Hours: 39 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 7.30am – 4.00pm Monday - Thursday & 7.30am – 3.00pm Friday.

About the Role:

To support our plans for continued growth and assist our CI drive, a vacancy has arisen within our Anti Corrosion department for the position of an Impregnation Operator with a specific responsibility to drive success on the daily workload. You will report directly to the TAC Supervisor giving full support to other Supervisors if required.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

• To utilise the cure vessels with specified procedures.
• To use manual methods to set and make safe the impregnation process to the set working standards.
• To monitor pressure and deliver multiple processes through the cycle.
• To work to specifications.
• To read drawings and routings for product specifications of the parts that are ready for impregnation process.
• To monitor and control WO and identifying parts process.
• To reporting variances to the Supervisor of any fluctuation of the process.
• To be a key member of the Continuous improvement team. (EiO)

Person Specification:

• Drawing and specification knowledge.
• A clear understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Works well as a member of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Accuracy while working under pressure with good organisational skills.
• Ability to project manage their own workloads.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.
