General Description

Responsible for all hourly payroll functions at the St Marys site. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.

 

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Bi-weekly payroll processing and audits for all hourly employees
  • Entering daily timecards into Pro III system
  • Attendance including tardy and absence tracking, verifying/correcting missed or errored time punches, and time tracking of employees out on FMLA, short/long term disability, worker’s compensation, etc.
  • Balances vacation and floating holidays within ADP
  • Bi-weekly and monthly reporting to HR and Accounting
  • Tracks wage progressions and evaluations on new employees
  • Maintains personnel files of all hourly associates
  • Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager  
  • Operates a multi-line switchboard, answers, and appropriately routes all incoming calls for various business units with courtesy, speed, and accuracy
  • Receives outside visitors, directs or escorts them to their destination.  Assists visitors with badge system and pre-entry screenings and forms

Minimum Qualifications

Targeted candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in the performance of the payroll function.  Computer proficiency and HRIS experience is a must.  Experience with ADP payroll processing is desired.  An Associate’s degree in Business or related function is a plus.
