Main missions
As the Global Sales Operations Director, you will steward commercial effectiveness across the Electrical Power segment and provide strategic analysis. Partnering with Sales Leadership, Global Product Lines, MarCom, and Finance, you will drive the top-line budgeting and forecasting processes, support the equitable assignment of sales quotas, oversee sales governance, implement and maintain enabling technologies (including the CRM), proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement and deploy methodologies and tools to improve efficiency. Your mission is to enable data-driven decision-making, optimize sales productivity, and ensure alignment across all commercial functions to support business growth.
Main duties
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the annual top-line revenue budgeting process in close partnership with Sales Leadership, Global Product Lines, and Finance.
- Drive the monthly sales forecasting process, ensuring accuracy, ownership, and alignment with company goals.
Sales Performance Reporting
- Oversee monthly segment sales and bookings reporting.
- Support the VP Global Sales in the preparation and delivery of the monthly sales performance (M1) report.
- Provide strategic analysis and performance insights to improve commercial effectiveness.
- Address ad-hoc reporting requirements (such as top customer, market segmentation, etc.) reporting for the Group.
Sales Process Governance
- Manage the calendar and coordination of key global sales meetings and processes (e.g., Sales Performance Calls, Regional Demand Reviews).
- Ensure smooth execution of regional and global sales processes aligned with strategic priorities.
Digital Tools & Data-Driven Sales Operations
- Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to design and enhance dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) that support strategic decision-making.
- Deploy tools and methodologies that automate workflows, improve sales productivity, and maximize selling time.
Operational Excellence & CRM Management
- Monitor and improve sales processes efficiency and pipeline hygiene through proactive insights and performance reporting.
- Act as the regional expert for Salesforce CRM, ensuring data integrity, user adaptation, and application of best practices.
Global Program Implementation
- Lead the deployment of global programs, initiatives, tools, and processes across regions, ensuring alignment and adoption by local teams.
- Implement and monitor marketing segmentation strategies while ensuring high data quality standards.
Sales Leadership Support
- Support the definition of annual goals for field sales teams, ensuring alignment with budget objectives and key business initiatives.
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
Profile & Qualifications :
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations, ideally in an international B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, financial forecasting, and performance management.
- Experience balancing strategy creation with hands-on execution and in partner’s management.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel) and CRM systems (Salesforce required).
- Excellent communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and project management capabilities. Project management certification appreciated (PMP, Six Sigma).
- Results-oriented, analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
