Main duties

Engage with customers and suppliers to ensure timely communications and conformity of parts
Assist in compiling and submitting FAIs and PPAPs as required
Create FMEAs, Control Plans, etc. as required
Participate on Corrective Action Response Team
Assist in managing RMA process
Assist in customer contract review process
Liaison with other departments such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, etc. in order to effectively identify and resolve issues
Identify and implement process improvements on an on-going basis
Has the ability to stop the manufacturing process if a problem is detected
Provide support, as needed, during internal and external auditing activities

Requested Knowledge, Competencies and Abilities:

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 a plus
Bachelor's degree in Mehcanical or Electrical Engineering
Knlowedge of measuring equipment & Calibration requirements
Lean six sigma a plus
Blueprint reading with GD&T expierence
Self motivated and highly organized
Extensive expierence in metal fabrication and strong manufacturing background
5+ years expierence
