  1. Compliance & Traceability: Ensure all production activities comply with ITAR/EAR export laws and AS9100 quality standards. Document special processing requirements, including traceability and time-limit scenarios.

  1. Material Readiness: Perform "Can-Build" analysis to ensure all resources (materials, labor, and tooling) are ready before releasing orders to the shop floor.

  1. Shortage Management: Proactively identify and track material shortages, coordinating with Procurement to resolve bottlenecks before they impact delivery.

  1. Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the central point of contact for Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Production to align manufacturing intent with current priorities.

Requested Knowledge, Competencies and Abilities:

  1. Aviation Standards: Functional knowledge of AS9100ISO 9001, and FAA/EASA regulatory requirements.
  2. Systems Proficiency: Expert-level use of ERP/MRP systems (e.g Oracle JDE or Equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel (Databases, pivot tables, V-lookups).
  3. Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
  4. Precision & Detail Orientation: High level of accuracy is critical, as minor errors in aerospace manufacturing can have significant safety and financial consequences.
  5. Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to perform root-cause analysis and use data-driven insights to resolve production disruptions or labor shortages.
  6. Risk Management: Identifying potential design or production risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  7. Communication: Proficiency in translating complex technical data into actionable updates for diverse stakeholders, from shop floor staff to executive leadership.
  8. Adaptability: Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure environments characterized by rapid schedule changes or supply chain volatility.
