Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery while producing high-quality precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.

  • Perform machine setups, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting.

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

  • Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet required tolerances.

  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during production.

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.

  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Previous CNC machining experience preferred.

  • Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, and speeds.

  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.

  • Ability to perform machine setups and make basic program or offset adjustments.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with G-code programming or editing.

  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.

  • Experience working with tight tolerances and precision components.

  • Trade school, technical training, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
