Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery while producing high-quality precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
Perform machine setups, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet required tolerances.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during production.
Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
Work independently and collaboratively to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications

Previous CNC machining experience preferred.
Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Ability to perform machine setups and make basic program or offset adjustments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with G-code programming or editing.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
Experience working with tight tolerances and precision components.
Trade school, technical training, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
