Main duties

  • Participating in defining a relevant voice of customer to identify pertinent and impactful developments, working with the marketing, sales, and production teams.
  • Leveraging personal, existing internal knowledge, and external resources to effectively progress ideas and projects
  • Conceiving, developing and perfecting new products and processes
  • Developing existing products and processes
  • Performing laboratory and pilot-scale trials to confirm hypotheses and address any initial complications
  • Organizing and driving scaled up/production trials for products and processes under development, to perfect manufacturing procedures
  • Contributing to the production of written manufacturing procedures in relation to new products and ensure successful production through monitoring and assistance.
  • Leveraging laboratory equipment to enhance understanding of the material properties of our products
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures within the scope of their mission, with the help of management
  • Contributing to the taking out of patents, and publication of academic literature
  • Providing technical support to internal stakeholders
  • Running technical missions at the clients' facilities when required.
  • Maintaining our understanding of our critical competitors’ features, to drive our competitiveness.

Essential

Education: A master’s degree in engineering or science, or equivalent extensive experience

Professional experience: at least 3 years required
