Due to continued growth, and expansion, we require an experienced Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Department at Eurocentral.


The role:  


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights). This role is key to maintaining critical manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high operational efficiency.

What you will be doing:  

Rapid fault-finding and analysis of mechanical and electrical breakdowns across various complex systems.
Conducting PPMs and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment including:

•    Vacuum pumps
•    Vacuum transfer systems
•    Vacuum Furnaces
•    Induction and Resistance Furnaces
•    CNC machinery
•    Rotating equipment

Performing electrical fault finding and installations to support continuous operations within a supportive and safety-focused working environment.
Working to the highest engineering standards, ensuring all corrective actions are completed and recorded accurately in the CMMS.
Taking a methodical approach to repairs while demonstrating strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

What We’re Looking For:

•    Completed a recognised, certificated mechanical/Electrical Apprenticeship
•    Educated to HNC standard or equivalent.
•    Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
•    Strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
•    Ability to work efficiently and safely under pressure with a problem-solving mindset.
•    Confident in reading electrical schematics and mechanical diagnostics.
•    PLC knowledge, Siemens/Allen Bradley advantageous.
•    A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, shift-based role and takes pride in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
•    Good communication, organisational and reporting skills.
•    Health and safety focussed.

 

This position offers an additional 46% shift allowance.
