Manufacturing Operator

The role: 

Based at our Holytown site, the successful candidate will be joining a growing team and will be responsible for supporting the site’s manufacturing activities by operating various manufacturing processes in accordance with defined requirements. 

We are looking for:

Due to continued growth, and expansion, we require experienced manufacturing/production operators to work in the following processes:

Materials
Furnaces 
Coatings 
Dispatch 

What you will be doing:  
Manufacturing carbon-based insulations materials using varied machinery, equipment, and processes 
Adhering to site HSQE requirements 
Adhering to production schedules
Product inspection
Process monitoring and data inputting 
Inventory movements 
Housekeeping activities 
Participating in Continual Improvement activities 

Who are we looking for? 

Essential 
Experience of working in a manufacturing/production setting
Motivated and willing to learn 
Able to work as part of team as well as using your own initiative

Desirable (Process Specific) 
Counterbalance FLT Licence
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Competent in measurements with calipers 
Overhead crane license 
 

 

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Secondary education / High school diploma / On-the-job training
  • Professional experience required: < 3 years
