Main duties

Exemplary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow Established Safety Practices.
- Assist with developing, new and comprehensive operating instructions as well as the safe practices
- Work as team to – Prepare Reactors (Clean, Load/Unload, Troubleshoot, and Develop Fixtures). Prepare Product (Clean, Hone, Visual Inspection, etc.).
- Work with hazardous chemicals – Using appropriate PPE
- Monitor Processes, record process parameters, note issues and define corrective measures when necessary.
- Work with Team to define and develop operating parameters based on product type and configuration.
- Work with improvement projects – Process, Quality, Safety.
- Housekeeping
- Operate Lift Truck
- Perform general maintenance on equipment (Minor Electrical, Computer Interface, Mechanical).
- Data Acquisition / Data Entry

Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma with 2-5 years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Chemical Process Tech Degree or Certification would be accepted in place of Experience.
- Knowledge and Experience handling hazardous chemicals
- Knowledge of Problem Solving Techniques
- Good verbal communication and written skills
- Team Spirit
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control
- Mechanically Inclined.
- Able to lift above head, bending, climbing (Stairs / Ladders)
- Good Computer Skills (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, etc)
