Main duties

Undertakes adjustment and setting of specific equipment in order to carry out machining operations, based on a dossier and blueprints..

Uses the appropriate machining tools..

Machines pre-production items and prototypes, follows established controls to validate the first items manufactured in a production run..

Looks for potential improvements to reduce wastage and keep within production time..

Detects machining faults and seeks corrective actions..

Ensures the required traceability (product/process), and reports on his/her work..

Carries out first-level maintenance on equipment..

Provides technical support and tutors new starts..
