Le site de Saint Bonnet de Mure (69) héberge l’activité dédiée aux véhicules électriques et offre ainsi une large gamme de produits et de solutions couvrant tous les aspects de la gestion de la puissance et de la sécurité à bord des véhicules électriques.

Mersen is pushing its know-how in the Electric Vehicle industry. Full of success and with a lot of potential, we are seeking our future Account Manager / Sales Engineer with proven skills in managing strategic customers, developing long term relationships within the organizations of key accounts; with minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience working with the automotive and or heavy transportation. Targeted customers include OEM’s and Tier 1 accounts from Electric Vehicle industry.

 

Description:
Manage existing key accounts, identify opportunities and acquire new development programs with targeted leaders among the EV market.

 

Position responsibilities:

  • Manage growth and profitability of the assigned current businesses by building long-term relationships
  • Develop and implement a strategy per customer, aligning with company objectives, products and resources
  • Identify new prospects
  • Interact with multiple levels within Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality professionals, defining the key decision makers, champions, influences and gatekeepers.
  • Visit regularly customers
  • Internally, you will consolidate customer needs and liaise with the cross functional and multicultural team to ensure that customers’ specifications and expectations are shared, understood, and fulfilled.
  • Arrange and host meetings with team members and customers, follow-up on actions, report progress.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows to increase Company visibility and position for future new business growth.
  • Use and service report systems

 

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of automotive industry, Electric Vehicle expertise a plus
  • Experience selling customized-product-into-OEM applications in the automotive or heavy transportation markets.
  • Presence and familiarity with the European automotive environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer advanced development activities and approval milestones in order to progress initial concepts to working prototypes and ultimately production implementation.
  • Proven success working with global organizations, assuring our activities are in step with account’s sourcing process.
  • Exceptional relationship and communication skills, presence consistent with this important customer facing role.
  • Technical aptitude and knowledge base.

 

Profile:  

  • Master’s degree in engineering preferred.
  • Experience min 5 years in Automotive industry
  • Fluent in English & French (German would be a plus)
